It’s easy to see where a person stands today, but the true value lies in the journey that brought them there.

My path to founding ProTaxMasters wasn’t a straight line—it was a calling. Inspired in part by the story of Jeremiah, I believe we all have a roadmap and a purpose from God. For me, that purpose has always been rooted in service and continuous growth.

From Humble Beginnings to Lifelong Learning

Coming from a family where college was a rarity, I carried the legacy of my grandmother, who insisted that education was the key to opportunity. She was right. Through the struggles, the costs, and the moments of wanting to quit, I pushed forward. That persistence led me through a Nursing degree and a Paralegal degree.

While in law classes, I was told that Tax Law was one of the most challenging subjects one could master. I took that as a challenge. I knew that to truly help small businesses and individuals, I had to master the language of accounting first, and then the complexity of the tax code itself.

The Path to Enrolled Agent

Today, my journey has brought me to the “light at the end of the tunnel.” After years of hands-on experience at tax firms and passing rigorous IRS exams, I am currently an Enrolled Agent (EA) candidate.

I am on track to complete my final special enrollment exam and become a fully licensed Enrolled Agent by the end of 2026. This federal designation represents the highest credential the IRS awards, and I bring that same level of elite technical expertise to every return, bookkeeping file, and consulting session at ProTaxMasters.
